“I am Giant”

What a fantastic start to March with a winner from just the two runners so far!

The win came from Giant at Kempton on Saturday night under a perfect ride from Oisin Murphy – drawn in stall 1 he broke well and made every stride a winning one to come home by a comfortable 2 ¼ lengths. A super training performance from Richard Spencer to have him spot on, having been off the track since October.

Earlier on in the card Cross The Tracks ran respectably, leading to the 7 pole he didn’t quite stay the extra furlong and we’ll look to bring him back in trip for his next start.

This week we’re quiet again until the weekend with likely entries for Con Te Partiro at Wolverhampton and Back Tomorrow, Shallow and Waiting All Night all possibly heading to Southwell. Fingers crossed we can keep this strike rate up.

Another super work morning at home last Saturday with the bigger team taking shape ready for the start of the flat in just over a couple of weeks time – I cannot wait to see these 2 year olds on the track.
