CON TE PARTIRO

“From Wolverhampton to The Oscars”

Just the one runner last week saw Con Te Partiro follow up on his recent victory under another strong drive from Hollie Doyle at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening. The gelding operation along with step up in trip certainly seems to have worked with this stunning looking homebred and we look forward to him running again soon.

As a coincidence less than 24 hours later the song was performed by Andrea and Matteo Bocelli as an ‘In Memoriam’ at last night’s Oscars ceremony in LA – definitely worth a watch for those that missed it.

This week the racing world heads to Cheltenham and our reduction in jump horses see’s us runner-less for the first time in as long as I can remember, although we’ll still call down for a couple of ’social’ days.

Our ‘work’ week kicks off at Chelmsford on Thursday with entries for Con Te Partiro and Shallow, hoping to back up her last time out victory at the track. Back Tomorrow holds an entry at Southwell on Thursday and Newcastle on Friday along with Cross The Tracks. Con Te Partiro also has an entry at Wolverhampton on Saturday. Elsewhere Wonderwall has an entry for Peter Bowen at Kempton over Hurdles.

Less than two weeks until the start of the flat.
