“The Five Legged Horse”

Just the four runners from Sefton Lodge last week and not too much for us to get excited about …. well definitely not as excited as Con Te Partiro who attempted the impossible at Lingfield! I can’t recall one of mine doing this before but always a first time for everything.

At Tattersalls it was the Horses in Training Sale and we saw the departure of Bodygroove, Mr Big Stuff, Dandy Maestro, Tyson Fury, Maharajas Express, The City’s Phantom, Talamanca and Another Dimension from Sefton Lodge. We wish all of their new connections the best of luck with them.

Their departure will free up space in the yard for our largest incoming crop of two year olds for next season (twenty four). We had a great day watching their progress last Friday with Megan and Adam Kirby at Vicarage Farm, what a super job the team there are doing.

Another quiet week ahead on the track as the turf season draws to a close with just a couple of entries at Newmarket on Saturday – Bernardo O’Reilly and Ivory Madonna. This last meeting at HQ has traditionally been lucky for us so fingers crossed we get to run.

Either way we’ll have some fun as we welcome the annual visit from Aidan and the team from Rebel Records to Rebel Racing …. will definitely liven up the Rowley Mile.
