… Everybody’s Having Fun”
With no new winter images of Sefton Lodge to share, and with activity on the track very quiet this week’s focus is a reflection of our 2025 Season, which is all but complete (Maybe Your Love could go to Southwell next Sunday).
Not only has Richard made the Top 40 in the Trainers Championship, which runs for the full calendar year for 1st January, but he has also achieved a 40% uplift from last years record Prize Money total. What is even more remarkable is that this has been achieved with less than half the amount of horses than most of his closest rivals.
The Owners Championship runs for a shorter time period, from the Guineas Festival until the 16th October. A Top 20 position was beyond our wildest expectations (actually 15th if you group the 3 entries for Team Coolmore), and will definitely be a hard act to follow.
Throw in an Ascot International Handicap, a Stewards Cup One, Four, Five ….. and an Ayr Gold/Silver Cup double and it completes what is our most enjoyable season to date.
None of which would be possible without the tremendous efforts of our hard working team, which like our group of horses seems to strengthen every year. A huge thankyou to all of you.
