“She Take My Money ……”

Some exciting two year old debuts coming up this week including our recent record purchase ‘Gold Digger’ who heads to Yarmouth on Wednesday for the 6 furlong fillies maiden under Jamie Spencer. Acquired from Tally-Ho Stud at the Craven Breeze up sale, we are excited to see her out on the track.

On Thursday Romeo Montague (Neil Callan) looks our likely participant in the 6 furlong Novice Stakes at York. In what looks like a hot renewal at the entry stage we hope he can follow a similar path to last years second in the race Yah Mo Be There. Start Me Up and You Sexy Thing (full brother to Sex On Fire) also hold entries but look more likely to stay closer to home and head to Newmarket on Sunday. All 3 also hold entries at Newbury on Friday.

We start this week, however, at Chepstow on Tuesday with the first of our two year olds to run this season, Born Slippy, making his second start in the 5 furlong maiden under George Wood. Let’s hope he can improve on his previous fourth place now switched to the turf.

Two Tribes, only narrowly beaten at Newmarket on Guineas Day, heads to York on Wednesday for a valuable Class 2 handicap. The eye-catching booking of Ryan Moore has him currently installed as second favourite.

Elsewhere on Wednesday I Follow Rivers bids for the hat-trick at Bath with regular pilot George Wood in the saddle.

Friday we head to Newmarket for a likely 3 runners on the card. Hot Like Me , Somebody and Midnight City – let’s hope at least one of the three can lose their maiden tag.

The Man will make his seasonal reappearance at York in the 5 furlong handicap.

On Saturday we head to Newbury with RightHere RightNow in the Listed Carnarvon Stakes and Run Boy Run in the 6 furlong handicap.

Finishing up on Sunday back at Newmarket with (as stated above) Start Me Up and You Sexy Thing plus Waiting All Night.

An excitement packed week ahead!
