…… for a 2-year-old!
With almost 5 months of the year remaining, we are already within 10% of last years record haul in prize money. What makes this even more remarkable is that we are yet to ‘fire’ with our 2 year olds, whom Gold Digger apart have been a disappointing bunch in the main. However, following a great work morning last Saturday I really do feel this is about to change as we look set to release our second wave over the next few weeks.
Last week on the track we were fairly quiet with the highlight being Paint the Town Red’s second place effort at Chelmsford last Thursday. A pleasing run on what is set to be her final start for us as she heads to tomorrows Tattersalls online sale and looks a sure fire winner waiting to happen.
Two Tribes had a rare Saturday off however his regular partner David ‘Super Saturday’ Egan didn’t riding a significant Group race double at The Curragh – huge congratulations to Kia and all at Team Amo.
This week remains relatively quiet also with no entries until Friday with Waiting All Night (Newmarket) and Born Slippy (Newbury), Saturday we have Atmosphere (Doncaster) and Alive Again (Newmarket) although participation will be ground dependant for all.
All focus is on The Ebor Festival the following week at York as we anticipate sending a strong team with possible runners every day.
