“Remind me baby of you ….”

With Newmarkets ‘most eligible’ now domiciled in Dubai the team at Sefton Lodge continue to perform under his remote leadership.

Teardrops got off the mark at the sixth time of asking at Newcastle last Wednesday, the drop back in trip, change of headgear and positive ride by George Wood definitely worked the oracle when running out a comfortable winner. He could head back there this week under a penalty.

This victory closed out some tidy numbers for November, from just the six runners we had two winners (33%), and a further three placed efforts (83% win and placed).

This week starts for us today with Your Love at Wolverhampton. Looking to repeat last time out’s victory Jack Callan (3 from 4!) retains the ride.

On Tuesday Somebody heads up to Newcastle for the Nursery Handicap, it looks like being a maximum four runner contest and George Wood is in the saddle.

On Thursday we head to London for the ROA awards where we’ve been nominated for the ‘Owner of the Year’ award. We’re absolutely delighted to have been nominated and are looking forward to a fun night out.

Our week completes on Friday with Teardrops at Newcastle.

The team in Dubai continue to settle in well, with their work gradually being increased ahead of our first runners on December 12th. Hopefully you’ve been following their progress on our socials as we make use of the excellent facilities.

Elsewhere we managed to pick up a couple of additions at the foal sales , a full brother to Two Tribes and a half sister to Romeo Montague , they both join the team at Swynford Paddocks.

Our sole ‘jumps’ horse, Shotgun Rider, could debut this week for Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies.
