A great start to last week saw us record a ‘One Two’ in the feature race of the day at Kempton. A fillies’ handicap over 6 furlongs saw Your Love (George Wood) get the better of Shallow, even more special with both being by Rajasinghe, and the first time we have managed a 1-2 (as far as anyone can remember!)
On Tuesday Teardrops failed narrowly to make it 4 wins in 5 starts up at Newcastle, the 5 pound penalty possibly taking its toll.
We then headed to Meydan for Fashion Friday, a super trip and a great card saw a Dubai debut for The Man, he looked to be travelling well until tiring and finding the ground a bit loose in the final furlong. Nightwalker then put in a stinker … way too bad to be true.
We head over again for this Friday’s meeting with Run Boy Run and Two Tribes aiming for the Dubai Stakes Listed race over 6 furlongs. A first foray into pattern Company for Two Tribes , we’ll be packing the pinstripe for a bit of a luck.
Back home we have a spatter of entries at the end of the week for Teardrops, Atmosphere and Space Cowboy.
