“New Stock Arrives”

A rare blank week on the racetrack was counterbalanced by a successful week at the Goffs UK Yearling Sale. A source in the past for us of some tremendous racehorses including Rajasinghe, Rumble InTheJungle and of course Cockney Rebel. This year we secured 10 cracking colts including the pictured Mehmas x Red Box. All have settled in well at their next home, Megan and Adam Kirby’s Vicarage Farm, who did such a fantastic job with last years crop which include the exciting RightHere RightNow and Yah Mo Be There (also Goffs purchases).

Racing this week starts with Shallow at Kempton on Wednesday. Having finished second at the track on her debut last September she bids for her third win of the year over the same distance albeit after a short break.

Thursday see’s Candy return to Newbury for the Nursery Handicap, second last time out over course and distance and raised 4 pounds for that effort, he bids to go one better once again under George Wood.

Con Te Partiro holds entries at both Lingfield and Wolverhampton – a course and distance winner this year over both options, he’ll go for what looks the likeliest chance of securing his fifth victory of the campaign.

Run Boy Run chases the hat-trick at Ascot on Friday although may swerve that engagement in favour of the bigger pot at the same venue on Saturday. Two Tribes also has an entry at the same fixture.

Finally, we’re hoping for some rain at York before Sunday where Sex On Fire has been crying out for some cut in the ground.

Keep following as we begin to name The Class Of ‘25 this week …..
