A big thanks to all of those who participated in our Insta Poll to select the song for our soon to debut 3 year old filly Maneater, youth prevailed with Nelly Furtado – Aidan emerging victorious.
Last week was spent mainly at Cheltenham, fantastic to catch up with so many people and plenty of belly laughs as always. Huge congratulations to the new connections of our old alumnus Wonderwall, what a fantastic job they’ve done with his jumping and am delighted to see our old boy fulfill some of the potential we felt he possessed. Whilst he would have been an unlikely participant in the race if he’d remained under our care the victory is tinged with a hint of sadness that we were unable to be part of it with the horse that lived in my kitchen for 5 years!
Only a couple of runners on the track last week with Midnight City running under par at Southwell on Saturday although Sex On Fire put up a bold showing to fail by just over a length whilst conceding between six to eleven pounds to those in the placings ahead of him.
Only one likely runner this week with Con Te Partiro heading to Southwell attempting 1m 6f for the first time, whilst back home some of the two year olds will be taking another huge step forward in their development.
