“Mixed Emotions”

No flat racing last week and apologies for the break from our weekly update.

This week we head to Wolverhampton this evening with Lucky Man in the 8.00pm – down in grade we hope he can show some of his old sparkle and make the frame at decent odds. George Wood, who has recently requested to trade in ‘The Candyman’ nickname for ’Sex On Fire’, takes the ride.

Tomorrow we head to Lingfield with Pjanoo and George Wood once again in the saddle. Only beaten in the dying strides at Chelmsford a couple of weeks ago we hope to reverse the placings, although carrying top weight and are a net 2 pounds worse off with the victor.

Whilst hoping for a successful result at Lingfield, our main action will be in the evening up at the Tattersalls sales complex where the magnificent Naomi Lapaglia will pass through the ring as lot 1739 in The Sceptre Sales. Rated 103, multiple Listed and Group Placed this wonderful filly has only ever pleased everyone that has been connected with her, it really is a case of Mixed Emotions.
