“Merry Christmas from all at Sefton Lodge!”

As Christmas fast approaches it’s still business as usual for the team, and we have two runners today at Wolverhampton. First up is Lovesick making her second start in the 17:30, followed by Sex On Fire looking to maintain his unbeaten record on the all-weather in the 18:00 despite having to concede weight all around. George Wood takes the ride on both.

Pjanoo holds entries both Wednesday and Thursday at Kempton and Chelmsford, with Midnight City also entered on Thursday at Wolverhampton where he will partner with Kieran Shoemark.
On Friday, all being well we’ll have our first Australian runner, with Life After Love looking to make her debut on the Gold Coast for Ciaron Maher. She also holds an entry at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Another bit of excitement this week as I’m shooting down to Vicarage farm to see how the class of ’25 are coming along under the care of Megan and Adam Kirby and their team. After such a fantastic season this year with the 2yos, it’s likely to be a long winter anticipating the first runner next year!

Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas from all the team at Sefton Lodge, and hopefully we can find a winner or two before then.
