“Mad World”

Today’s Blog is being written from Dubai. Currently stuck at The Meydan Hotel on the track and can only describe the emotion as one of a calm chaos. Understandably there is a lot of concern but to be honest it ain’t too bad, the uncertainty being the overriding issue.

Super Saturday was a fantastic experience, not least from having never seen racing with a backdrop of missiles being diffused. Run Boy Run ran an absolute cracker to finish second in the Group 3 Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint earning his first black type and a new rating of 105 under another magnificent ride from George Wood. I do not think I have ever owned a tougher horse and lets hope he gets a well-deserved chance on World Cup night.

There is every possibility we could still be here for Fridays card should racing go ahead and we have some exciting entries …. 7 of our team of 10 could make an appearance namely Rappers Delight, Twilight Calls, RightHere RightNow, The Man, Start Me Up, Hawksbill and Two Tribes.

Back home Teardrops heads to Newcastle on Friday with Kimbara possibly debuting on the same card or maybe Chelmsford on Saturday.

Stay safe everyone xx
