“I Could Be The One”

A quiet time with no runners from Sefton Lodge last week as we transition from the end of the turf season to the start of the All Weather Championship at Newcastle on Tuesday. Following on from last year’s successful campaign where we finished second in the AW Owners’ Championship we will make a bid to go one better!

One highlight from last week was we were able to visit Megan and Adam Kirby and the team up at Vicarage Farm to view the progress of next year’s crop of will-be two year olds. Whilst they do a fantastic job they also always make us feel so welcome … a big thank you to you all. It’s always a fun part to finalise their naming and all select which yearling we hope will ‘Be The One’ for next season.

Running plans this week commence on Tuesday with Lucky Man (Hollie Doyle) declared at Newcastle.

Aidan Andabettin heads to Kempton on Wednesday under ‘The Champ’ Oisin Murphy.

Fool’s Gold heads to Southwell on Thursday, fingers crossed for a great start.
