“Get Down Girl….”

Go Head Get Down!

Highlight from last week was the eagerly awaited return of Gold Digger last Monday evening at Windsor. Absent since last year’s Albany at Royal Ascot she looked very impressive in landing the 6 furlong Novice Fillies’ stakes carrying a penalty under Saffie Osborne. Assuming we have a clean passage, she now heads to Royal Ascot for the Palace of Holyrood House with a live chance.

Homebred Zigazig Ah also made a pleasing debut at Lingfield finishing a half-length second to the odds-on favourite who had had the benefit of a previous run. She looks more than capable of breaking her maiden imminently.

This week we head back to Windsor today with two more debutant juvenile fillies, Starburster and Motown Filly. Should one catch the eye they may also make the squad for Royal Ascot. Later on the same card Cuff It has his second start, having debuted at Newmarket over an inadequate trip last month.

Wednesday we head to Yarmouth with Rockafeller Skank, George Wood takes the ride.

On Thursday Dreamlover heads to Nottingham for his second start and hopefully will be more focused on racing! You Sexy Thing heads to Newbury and could be joined by Righthere Rightnow, whilst Yazoo will debut at Yarmouth.

On Friday we head to Sandown with Underdog, Kimbara and Twilight Calls whilst Shallow heads to York.

A busy and exciting week ahead.
