This week sees us head to HQ for the first of our summer festivals – The July Festival.
We kick off on Thursday with just the one runner, Sexy Chick, in the 7 furlong fillies’ maiden. A staying on close second over 6 furlongs on the same course a couple of weeks ago she bids to go one better.
On Friday Wild Thoughts could appear in the 1m 2f handicap although he also holds an entry on Saturday at the same venue over 1 mile.
We could also see Speed of Sound make her debut in the two year old fillies’ maiden over 6 furlongs.
Twilight Calls and Rappers Delight head to the 5 furlong handicap, whilst Ice Cube and Kimbara are entered in the 7 furlong handicap.
On Saturday Two Tribes looks set to carry near top weight in the Bunbury Cup, Walkin on the Moon could debut in the 7 furlong maiden, Shallow runs in the 7 furlong fillies’ handicap and RightHere RightNow is entered in the 7 furlong handicap.
Elsewhere Start Me Up could head back to Chester, whilst Run Boy Run heads the weights at Ascot in the 5 furlong Heritage Handicap.
