“Could it be magic?”

A brief stop off at the Magic Millions sales complex on Thursday morning saw us double the size of our Australian team with Ciaron Maher. A fantastic colt by champion sire Snitzel out of stakes-winning mare Humma Humma from the highly regarded Antony Thompson’s Widden Farm, he really was a standout.

Hopefully we’ll be back next year to see him line up in the Magic Millions sales race.

Back home we’ve yet to get on the score sheet for the year, but from just a handful of runners. Hopefully that could all change this week as we kick off with Midnight City tomorrow at Southwell, George Wood rides.

We could be back at Southwell on Wednesday with Pjanoo dropping back in trip for the 7 furlong handicap, although he also holds an entry at Newcastle on Friday.

Juicy is entered at Chelmsford on Thursday and Southwell Friday, along with The Last Time. Pjanoo, Midnight City, Candy and Run Boy Run all hold entries at Newcastle on Friday.

Fingers crossed for a winner or two.
