…to our yard sponsor Direct Commercial Ltd who at The Royal Albert Hall last Wednesday were crowned MGA of the Year at the British Insurance Awards. A business I started from scratch 23 years ago and now the second largest and most profitable truck insurer in the UK it helps to pay for a few bales of hay!
Apologies for missing last weeks ‘blog’, a few placed efforts, some positive/some negative performances and lack of any good luck would probably surmise our activity on the track.
But I feel this is all about to change …..
We start on Tuesday with a couple of chances at Thirsk. First up is Atmosphere in the Apprentice handicap and Jack Callan looking to maintain his 100% record with us. Shortly after Mwaki (Cieren Fallon) lines up for the 5 furlong Nursery Handicap.
On Wednesday Alive Again heads to Yarmouth. You Sexy Thing holds entries at Newbury Friday and Haydock Saturday. Shallow could head back to Newmarket on Friday along with Waiting All Night on Saturday.
Off of the track we had a bit of a clear out at the July sales with Giant, Con Te Partiro, Lovesick, Keep on Moving, Hot Like Me and Midnight City all leaving the yard … we wish new connections the best of luck with them.
Elsewhere in Australia Life After Love did not take up her engagement at Caulfield last week and heads to Sandown Hillside on Wednesday.
