A week of changes at Sefton Lodge with a successful trip to the Tattersalls Horses In Training sale. Three exciting new recruits acquired to join Team Rebel Dubai and complement our existing squad. My pick of the three being Nightwalker (pictured) – a stunning grey son of Frankel from the same family as Logician, who will hopefully line up in some of the staying competitions. Sisyphean and Hawksbill complete the trio.
Unfortunately with some coming in some have to leave and we said goodbye to Sex On Fire, Waiting All Night, Madan and I Follow Rivers and we’d like to wish the best of luck to all of the new connections.
A couple of placed efforts from only a handful of runners comprised the track activity last week and as we reach that time of year there are only a few scheduled for this week.
We start today with Your Love bidding to break her duck at Southwell in the 6 furlong novice stakes under Jack Callan. Placed on four of her five starts, it would be great to see her get her head in front.
We’re then quiet until Thursday with Teardrops heading to Newcastle and Atmosphere scheduled for Chelmsford, before Candy completes the week at Doncaster on Saturday in the Listed Wentworth Stakes.
