“Big Fun”

The big news for us last week was off the track with the announcement that we shall be setting up a base in Dubai for the winter – an idea that started almost 18 months ago and then explored in detail for the past couple is gradually coming together with the plan that we shall be taking a team of horses for the duration of the carnival. A real exciting time for the team and at the very least I am sure it will be Big Fun!

More fun looks likely for the week ahead as Team Rebel will be setting up camp in York for the Ebor Festival.

First up on Wednesday is The Man in the opening 5 1/2 furlong Heritage Handicap. Currently priced up at 8/1 favourite and once again ridden by David Egan, he is returning to York for only his second start of the season.

At the end of Wednesdays card Somebody has an entry in the 6 furlong nursery handicap although it is uncertain if he will make the cut off bottom weight.

Our sole runner at the festival on Thursday looks to be Shallow in the 7 furlong fillies handicap, Saffie Osborne takes the ride.

On Friday Yah Mo Be There is entered in the One Mile Heritage Handicap , a touch unlucky so far this season, I am confident that he has the ability to put up a good showing.

Slightly earlier on the card with have a 2 year old debutant in The Convivial, Ice Cube will be ridden by George Wood.

Then finally on Saturday we have the three lads from The Stewards Cup all having their next start in The Constantine, Two Tribes, Run Boy Run and Twilight Calls.

Whilst Enter Sandman will take his chance at Newmarket in the £100k Somerville sales race.
