Last week saw the close to our record breaking year at Sefton Lodge.
34 winners for Richard Spencer and the team at Sefton Lodge eclipsing a previous best of 32 but this time with an 18% strike rate, over half a million pounds in prize money and 2 stakes winners.
On a personal note we just missed out on the top 10 flat owners for 2024 – but what an effort! Especially as this excludes the additional 9 winners owned in partnerships.
Some fantastic days out winning roughly once in every five visits to the track and featuring in the frame on over half of the time – what a year!
In roughly 48 hours the winners ticker winds back again to zero and we start again for 2025 and both I and all of the horses will be one year older.
With 11 horses from last year still to make their racecourse appearance and another sixteen 2 year olds on their way from Vicarage Farm, Sefton Lodge will once again be full of hopes and dreams.
